Guadalajara

Guadalajara was founded in 1542 by politician, Nuño Beltrán de Guzmán, and was named after his home town in Spain. The name Guadalajara has roots in a  Arabic-Andalacian phrase “wadi al hijara” that means ” a river that flows between stones, valley of stones, or valley of fortresses.” It is the capital of Jalisco and is known for its cultural diversity, size and cosmopolitan feel.  It also boasts as being one of the best economies in Latin America with a spectacular quality of life. In Guadalajara, you can find pretty much anything you want as the city is a hub of education, architecture, culture, lifestyle, modern design, art, modern amenities, and much much more.
