San Bastian, a small, charing, and quaint town about an hour outside of Puerto Vallarta, can be just a day trip or an overnight stay. This quiet town is one of the favorite destination spots while in Puerto Vallarta. Here you can either stay and relax in the city square, or rent all terrain vehicles and ride through the trails that take you through the mounatainous terrain. Nestled in the mountains, the climate here is cooler and less humid compared to ares of Puerto Vallarta that are closer to the ocean. This is why one visit this town as a reprieve from the summer heat and humidity.
